TrustCloud offers TrustShare for customer assurance, document sharing, and security assessments. Evaluate the portal, access boundaries, approved information, and review responsibilities needed for your customer handoff.
Documented workflows
TrustCloud's TrustShare setup guide describes managing companies, documents, assessments, and portal users. Its portal documentation describes data rooms and document access permissions for selected recipients.
Implementation considerations
Prepare a small document set with known owners, scope, and sharing approvals. Follow a customer's request through access approval, document retrieval, a follow-up question, and removal of access. Compare the administrator's view with what a recipient can actually retrieve.
Ask how changes in the underlying program reach the portal and when a person reviews those changes before they are shared. Establish how outdated documents are replaced, how restricted material is excluded, and who handles questions that cannot be answered from the approved records.
Questions to verify in a demo
- Which TrustShare features and other product modules are included?
- How do company, user, and document permissions interact?
- Can an owner inspect and approve a customer-facing answer's sources?
- How are document replacement, expiry, and revoked access handled?
- What access and sharing history can the team retain or export?
Scope to confirm
Separate portal setup, document migration, assessment workflows, integrations, and ongoing support in the proposal. Confirm usage limits, hosting, retention, exports, and model-use terms. Agree who maintains content and reviews answers after onboarding.
Sharing controls should be tested with your intended audience and materials. This profile summarizes vendor documentation; it does not verify an implementation or imply that downloaded copies can always be recalled.
